What are the options for repayment tenures?

You can repay your loan over a period of 12 to 60 months.

How much would I need to repay each month?

At the time of booking your loan, the EMI (Equated Monthly Installments) is calculated based on the loan

amount sanctioned, interest rate and tenure.

What are the different modes available for repayment

of EMI?

For your convenience, we provide three options through which you can repay your loan:

Post Dated Cheque (PDC): At the time of availing a Citibank Personal Loan, you can give PDCs equal to the

tenure of your loan, which will be presented every month to your bankers.

Electronic Clearing Service (ECS): If you have a bank account with any bank other than Citibank, you can give

us an instruction to directly debit your bank account every month for the EMI amount. Click here to view ECS

Format

Standing Instruction (SI): If you have a Citibank account you can give us instructions to directly debit your

Citibank account every month for the EMI due.

When will my PDCs get presented every month?

Post Dated Cheques are presented on the first of every month to the respective bankers. If the installment

cheque for a particular month gets returned unpaid on 1st presentation, this cheque will be automatically re

presented for the second time in the same month. Cheque return charges and penal charges will not be

levied to the account, as long as the payment is received by the 7th of every month.
